Super TNT

The ideas come from my kids: "a TNT that scatters paper when it blows up", "sand that explodes when you dig it", "a ball that makes everyone tiny". Each one is written in an evening and tried on a tablet the next day, and the kids say what is not right. A TNT mod grew this way to 70 explosives, from Zeynep TNT to Doomsday TNT. Trap blocks, magic items and four giant monsters came along too, and the Transformation Wand turns you into any of 135 disguises.

Below are some of them a few seconds after going off. A script in the repository took these frames from Minecraft running on an Android emulator.

The pack is a Minecraft Bedrock add-on. It comes as a single .mcaddon file, and on an Android tablet one tap installs it into Minecraft. All of it is generated from one Python file, which holds the lists of TNT, blocks, items, monsters and disguises. The same lists also produce the catalogue page and the wall of all 70 TNT, drawn with the pack's own textures. ./ctl deploy tablet builds the pack and sends it over Wi-Fi to every connected tablet, and that is how the next day's testing starts.

Most of the TNT are crafted the same way, with eight of one material around a normal TNT. You light one with flint, a redstone signal or an explosion next to it. It jumps, rolls and blinks, and goes off after four seconds. The pack is in Turkish, and so is its site.
