Bedesten

Bedesten tracks orders for tailoring and garment workshops. Each order sits on one list with its customer, measurements, branch, status and due date. The staff work from that list all day, and they can change an order's status with one tap on its row.

One platform serves many workshops, and each workshop sees only its own orders. It keeps working when the connection is poor, which in a workshop is the normal case.

It runs on Cloudflare Workers with D1, and each workshop has a database of its own. Changes made offline wait in a queue until they can be sent. The name comes from the bedesten, the covered market where the trades kept their shops side by side.
